Essen guessin'

Eating is the biggest quandary for us so far.

A typical Austrian lunch: Krainer mit Senf, Brot, und Kaffee (oder ein Bier)

translation: a type of sausage with mustard, bread, and coffee (or a beer)

There are stands in the two main squares that serve sausages, people stop by at any hour, eat a sausage, and keep on going...

Thank goodness the Italian's invented the idea of a "meal"

It has really caught on in the USA, not here though!

Our apartment came with it's very own deli meat slicer!

We keep our tiny fridge well stocked. They take their meat, coffee, and beer very seriously in Austria. At least we can meet them on one level...

One meal I'm really going to miss this year is Buffalo Chicken, I tried to make something similar, but the necessary ingredients are just not available here. :(
