Fulbright Weekend

We had a weekend in Altenmarkt in Pongau in the provence of Salzburg sponsored by the Austrian-American Fulbright commission. There were lectures on psychology, photography, biology & aging, and marketing by visiting Fulbright professors, and group "brainstorming activities" for the American Fulbright scholars currently in Austria & Austrian students that will be going to the USA as teaching assistants next year. Normally one goes to these types of weekends with a bit of skepticism, but it turned out to be fantastic. The lectures were stimulating and it was great to be social with so many different people. I was so busy enjoying myself that I didn't take any pictures of people, but I did take some of the scenery when we had free time and went on a hike.

We came across a farm that had Scottish Highland Cows.
