Ljubljana
We took a trip down to Ljubljana, Slovenia for the weekend. It's amazing how different somewhere can be after only a 3 1/2 hour train ride. The architecture is similar, but the language is Slavic in origin, so we were completely clueless! Luckily, people are very friendly and speak very good English.

The old part of town along the river is quite charming with many street-side cafes and some great people watching. (Once you leave the old part of town, it's a bit depressing though.)
