Auf der Weinstrasse

There are many wine routes in southern Styria, the provence of Austria that Graz is in. In fact, one of our guide books describes southern Styria as "the Tuscany of Austria." Today we rented a car and drove along the Römer Weinstrasse and stopped in a few Buschenschänke for something to eat and to taste their wine.
Our first stop was at Maurer near Gleisdorf where David & I had been a few weeks ago with his lab. The owner even remembered David!
