St Jakob im Sommer

Last weekend we went with Jakob and Andrea to visit Ingrid, Alois, and Werner in St. Jakob im Walde. We had not been back since the winter, and it was fun to see the land transformed from white to green.

There is a little spring where you can stop for a drink of water. Notice the glasses provided to drink with!

We went on a hike up to the Artzberghuette, where we had been in January. This time we could enjoy the view from outside in the sun.

This picture is to help inform people who don't know what a Stinging Nettle plant looks like. I had never encountered one before, and if you don't know what you're brushing past, you'll get a nasty sting that lasts several hours. This plant is not friendly! Unfortunately I had to learn it the hard way.
